(Fingerprinting for background checks)
We are now using online scheduling for
WebCheck appointments. Please click on the link below to schedule

to bring to your appointment. Also, be advised that after you
finish the registration process, you must still make sure you
"book" the appointment. You will receive a message that
says the appointment was confirmed. If you do not see this, you did
not successfully book your appointment.
Hours for fingerprinting will be as
Monday through Friday
|8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
**We schedule appointments every 15 minutes. If you
are unable to make it to your appointment on time, please understand if we
ask you to reschedule.**
Appointments can be made for those persons
requesting WebCheck (electronic fingerprinting) or are in need of an ink fingerprint card being

|Electronic National FBI Transaction
|Electronic Combined BCI&I/FBI Transaction
|Inked Fingerprint Card (Maximum of 2 cards)
|Each additional fingerprint card
|For Law Enforcement Academy
If you come in without an appointment and
time permits, we will process your fingerprints at that time. If not,
we will offer you the next available appointment time.

(driver's license, credit card, social security card, passport, etc.)
CHECK or MONEY
ORDER made payable to Wayne County Sheriff for the
appropriate amount. (see fee schedule above)
electronic prints - the address where the results will need to be
must be paid by a Cashiers Check or
Money Order ONLY, made payable to Wayne
County Sheriff's Office.
DO NOT accept cash.
We are currently looking at the feasibility to take credit or debit cards
however we currently can only accept Cashiers Checks or Money Orders.
